I found after conversion that some paragraphs in the document were compressed i.e.the words did not have spaces between them.

Thank you for making the "PDF to Word Converter 1.5" available for free!
Because I am not skilful on my computer, I was unsure of being successful with my endeavour to convert a 12.8MB PDF-condensed Panasonic Camera manual into a manipulable WORD document.
My first two attempts failed, because they each had not been allowed their sufficient time to indicate the number of pages which had been successfully modified. Therefore I did not know whether or not it was proceeding victoriously; and so twice I had made the blunder of attempting to observe the WORD document's progress.
It was not until my third attempt (after having, this time, let the program completely untampered-with for about 3 hours) that I noticed a "message" stating that 30 pages had been completed.
During the initial commencement of the conversion, I noticed that the PDF required 120 WORD pages; so (based upon 30 pages in 3 hours) I estimated that the 120 pages would demand the program to operate for 12 hours to conclude.
However, I kept my distance from its processes for an extra 3 hours; to make sure that I did NOT cause the inheriting WORD document to again (for a third time) express a "Not Responding" message.
Therefore, after refraining from even as little as left-clicking my cursor (for 15 hours), I have now acquired the manual; thank you.
I was away; travelling up to the north of Western Australia; provoked into taking 1,200 to 1,250 photos with only the knowledge of turning the camera "On" and "Off"!! That was because I had run out of time to turn the manual into a paper document.
Regards,
Kim Lange

PDF to Word Converter 1.3 worked great on a new PDF file minus graphics moving only text from PDF to Word.
It had trouble converting font types from a PDF file of an old book. The text conversion was accurate but the font sizes and types were messy in appearance on conversion.
It especially had trouble moving images from a PDF file of an old book into an RTF or DOC document. The resulting images were unusable.
Nevertheless, this converter looks like it will serve me well. My most frequent need will be to move text, not images, from PDF to Word.

Thank you for the download. It worked well and perfectly. Thank you again.
P.S. I also get text ipg (scanned format). How can I covert this to word format? I thank you if you can solve this problem for me.

Good for freebie!
Actually, almost free ANYTHING is good! Does well, but some of the features like "delete text box" dont work. If you have just a plain PDF to convert, it will do well; high-graphics PDF will not convert to your liking!!

Good program, but slow
I found it worked well on small amount of bytes, but slow when asking for large amounts.

Correction
Sir,
I have left a comment earlier his week and obtained a note from you that it has been approved.
Howevwer, it needs a correction. I have incorrectly written in my review the abbreviation "COR" nad would like to have it replaced by "OCR" or "Optical Character Recognition".
Thank you again for having made available your product free.
Sincerely yours

good for plain-text conversion, but not eqs.
I have tested the converter on a *.pdf reprint with the purpose of changing it somehow while under Word. I have found it satisfactory for the text [except spaces replacing the "fi" or "fl" in films or reflects, which however is rather common] and absolute lack of Greek characters [could it not be improved?]. I did not expect anything valuable in math, so I did not become disappointed, anyway it happens to be better than some COR stuff I know. Summary: a useful thing, the more so that it is free - thanks to QArchive! I did recommend it to my friend doing text-refinig job for a scientific journal. arfer
